
Ill. Bro. Jerry B. Oliver, 33º, S.G.I.G. in Minnesota has
appointed Ill. Bro. Jerry J. Johnson, 33º as Orient Personal
Representative for the calendar year 2011.
Ill. Bro. Johnson resides in Woodbury and is a
consultant to higher education. Previously, he has held administrative
positions at two-year college campuses and has worked at the system
level for Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and the Minnesota
Department of Education. He also was an instructor at Moorhead State
College and has been employed in the electronics and electromechanical
industry.
He holds a doctorate and a master’s degree from
the University of Minnesota. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from
Moorhead State College and has a diploma in Electronics Technology from
Moorhead Area Technical Institute. He has also attended South Dakota
State University and Stout State University.
Jerry is a Past Master of Garnet Lodge No. 166
and is a life member of Ancient Landmark No. 5 He has served the
Grand Lodge of Minnesota as a District Representative, District
Representative at Large, Area Deputy and Grand Orator.
In the Scottish Rite, he is Past Wise Master of
the St. Paul Chapter Rose Croix. He was invested a Knight Commander of
the Court of Honour in 1999 and coroneted a Thirty-third Degree Honorary
in 2003. He has served as Personal Representative to the S.G.I.G. in
the Valley of St. Paul and also served as a Board Member and Secretary
of the Scottish Rite Foundation of Saint Paul.
Jerry is a life member of Minnesota Chapter No.
1, Royal Arch Masons; member of the St. George Conclave of the Red Cross
of Constantine; member of Osman Shrine; and Past Board Member of the
Masonic Cancer Fund, Inc.

Spring Reunions
The
Minneapolis and St. Paul Valleys of the Scottish Rite offer at their Annual
Reunions an abbreviated degree conferral that allows a candidate to become a
full member, with all of the rights and privileges of Scottish Rite
membership, without the extended commitment of receiving all twenty-nine
degrees. Please contact the respective Valley Secretaries for more information.
