The St. Paul Valley
Ancient, Free & Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry

Dear Brother Master Mason,

You may have visited our web because of your interest in seeking membership in the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.  If this is the case, you have taken the first important step forward in affiliating with our Order.

The Scottish Rite is the "University of Freemasonry", and through our Degree conferrals we teach many valuable lessons which have been passed down to us through the ages.  These lessons give our members the tools to become better informed and to be more conscious of what is really important in life.  As these valuable lessons are portrayed, the past merges with the present and the great truths that are learned may be used now and in the future.

The Saint Paul Valley offers an extended degree conferral which begins in the fall and ends in the spring.  During this time, all of the Degrees of the Scottish Rite are communicated or conferred.  These degrees are followed by facilitated study, wherein the discussion leaders present information and materials and answer questions that naturally emerge out of the experience.  A two-day class for the Obligatory Degrees is also offered in the spring for those who do not have the time available to participate in all of the degrees and degree discussions.

Your next important step towards membership in the Saint Paul Scottish Rite is to complete and submit the petition that is posted on this page.  If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Valley Secretary at stpaulsr@visi.com or 651-222-2676.  We look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Brent L. Metcalf, 33°
Personal Representative of the SGIG
Sean Gardiner, 32°
St. Paul Valley Membership Chair
